There’s something astonishing, ethereal and utterly beautiful about Lilla Vargen’s new song: ‘Believe Me’. Composed over the last year, ‘Believe Me’ is a slow burner which builds to an extraordinary height. It’s all synth, swirling electronics and heavy reverb – calling to mind the extraordinary landscapes of West Cork where Nick Rayner produced the track. It’s the first track we’ve heard this year from Vargen, who ended a 2017 with over two million Spotify plays on her EP Hold On and a spot on James Bay’s personal playlist!
